The Samsung Galaxy S Features A 4 Inch Super Amoled Wvga Touch Screen

The Samsung Galaxy S has a 4 inch super AMOLED WVGA touch screen display offering

up to 16 million colours through a seamless user interface to a handset offering a 5 megapixel camera for image and video capture, entertainment features and great functionality for business or office use too.

The handset is a full touch bar design weighing only 188 grams and offering 3G through HSDPA and HSUPA along with GSM and EDGE networks and its Wi-Fi capabilities for connecting the user to the internet and offering the full Web through its Chrome-lite web browser for the 2.1 Android operating system.

The Galaxy S comes with an impressive 5 megapixel autofocus camera with digital zoom and multiple shot modes and photo effects to produce a perfect image in minutes in the JPEG file format, which can then be instantly shared with friends on integrated social networks such as Facebook simply through picture messaging. The camera also captures video at 30 frames per second and 720 pixels resolution, which is HD quality. Meanwhile, a secondary front VGA camera is also present for video calling.

The handset has an integrated music player which sorts music tracks offering the user a simple touch user interface to find the music they want and to be able to enjoy it through the devices multiple wireless stereo Bluetooth profiles offered with the Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity. Further music and entertainment can be sought from the integrated FM radio with RDS support also featured.

For the business user, the phone offers a range of useful features including a document viewer, Thinkfree for email attachments and other document formats, mobile printing through the BPP Bluetooth profile and voice memos and mail. Meanwhile, email from POP3 and IMAP4 accounts can be configured along with Google Mail which is integrated, as is Google Talk for instant messaging.

The handset comes with a fantastic 2 gigabytes of internal user memory while offering up to 32 gigabytes of external emory storage with its microSD card technology featured. In addition to this, SMS and phonebook memories are not limited, except to the amount of storage memory available at the time to the user.

The Samsung Galaxy S features an impressive touch screen design and user interface combined with a powerful camera and both good connectivity as well as plenty of storage capabilities to the user.
