The Samsung Galaxy S Includes Swype Typing Technology For Fast Text Input

The Samsung Galaxy S features Swype which traces the users finger around the letters

on the on-screen touch QWERTY keypad and then types the word desired, faster and easier than single letter input and allowing the user to type up to 40 words per minute.

Other features include the impressive 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and digital zoom for image capture and High Definition video recording at 30 frames per second. The camera has different light and photo effects modes also, all allowing the user to create both stunning photos and videos with total ease wherever they go. Meanwhile video calling is also made possible tanks to the front VGA camera also featured.

The phone runs the Android 2.1 operating system which is highly flexible and comes preloaded with Android Market allowing the user the ability to download and enjoy many other application as well. The the music player and library meanwhile offer the user with easy track selection for their music on their phone and offers compatibility for MP3 ringtones also. An integrated FM radio with support for RDS is also featured.

The email solution offered includes support for popular email messaging services such as Google Mail and private email accounts through support for email protocols. Both text and multimedia messaging are also present, and instant messaging is also available form Google Talk. The Contacts feature combines all contacts easily into one place including their latest picture and status update form Facebook, along with support for other social networking services (SNS).

The Samsung Galaxy S has an impressive Super AMOLED touch display which is up to eighty percent resistant in direct sunlight, and capable of providing up to 16 million colours in vibrant and vivid detail. Great for users of the HD video recording, although this can also be enjoyed on a full screen television thanks o the phones TV-out connection. Other connectivity includes Bluetooth 3.0 and USB 2.0 with support for sharing files and information respectively. The full HTML web browser featured for user through the WiFi or 3G connections meanwhile is Chrome-Lite. The Assisted GPS allows the handset to utilise Google MAps for turn by turn navigation also.

The Samsung Galaxy S is an impressively stunning handset with a large display screen and some very powerful features such as Swype for seamlessly easy typing when creating emails and messages among other things.
