The Samsung Galaxy S is an Android 2.1 handset which features all the native and

integrated features and applications from the renowned operating system, while this memory rich phone with 1GHz processor for applications, and a large 4 inch touchscreen for viewing and user interface, provide the perfect setting for the system.

The handset hardware also features a 5 megapixel autofocus camera for photo capture, and capable of video recording in HD quality. While video playback and enjoyment are also available in the same quality for the user. Additionally, there is a VGA Telephony camera featured for video calling.

The Android operating system provides many integrated and native applications and features. The Galaxy S also provides easy integration of messages and status updates from social networking, such as emails, Tweets and Facebook through the Social Hub which combines them into one easy user interface, making it faster to respond.

The phone is 3G with WiFi for use in hotspots and where networks are available too. For data connectivity, the handset offers both microUSB (2.0) and Bluetooth 3.0 for wireless sharing over a close range. The internal memory is up to 16GB with a further expandable memory of 32 gigabytes available through the microSD card slot.

The Android Market application, meanwhile makes it possible to add many applications, widgets and other features to the handset, many now for free including free apps and ringtones. This can offer the user with a more customised phone providing the resources most needed, not just resources added. Applications can run side by side easily, and do not over-strain the memory.

The Samsung Galaxy S as an Android 2.1 phone is already capable of offering a huge variety of applications and features to any owner, while offering native and easy to use, as well as fast working resources also.
