The Samsung Jet With An 800mhz Application Processor For Faster Performance

The Samsung Jet has a powerful 800MHz application processor which offers faster performance and supports multiple applications running simultaneously

. Speed is assisted further by the handsets Super AMOLED display which provides more vivid colour through a thinner and more responsive touch screen than previous conventional TFT displays.

The phone has a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with a dual power LED flash, and features various different photo capture modes as well as 13 different scene modes for video recording which is DVD quality, as is the playback. Both a Video and Photo editors are also included respectively.

The handset offers a Music Player which is boosted with DNSe and SRS Sound Effect technologies for greater sound quality on playback. All major music file formats are supported, and the phone also has an FM Radio including a recording feature for it too. Music is easy to find and can be enjoyed through the 3.5m ear jack plug.

The Jet is a 3G phone with 2.5G also present, along with EDGE and GPRS Class12 and HSDPA. Connectivity is further provided by Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0 connection options. Besides a variety of internal memory storage (2, 8 or 16GB), there is also an additional expandable storage option from a microSD slot capable of holding up to 16GB.

The phone features Dolfin Browser to surf webpages easily, offering bookmarks for fast reference to websites, as well as the ability to add widget shortcuts directly to favourite webpages within the user menu. The browser has full HTML and standard protocol capabilities including support for Flash. When viewing webpages, photos and other multimedia, the handset offers one-finger zoom, making zoom even easier.

For easy navigation the Jet has internal A-GPS and offers on board navigation with 3D maps, 3D Landmarks for favourite destinations and and wide range of other location based and navigation services. Moving around the phone is easy through its Touchwiz 2.0 Motion user interface and Media Gate 3D which further make use of the stunning AMOLED screen technology offered. Other features include push email, calendar and events, text and video messaging and support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
