The Secret Dulce Underground Base Conspiracy

The Dulce Base seems to identify a secret underground facility located under Archuleta Mesa

, Dulce, in the State of New Mexico. The conspiracy stories around this base started in the 80s and stemmed from observations of a New Mexico physicist and businessman Paul Bennewitz of the Thunder Scientific Corp.

With his commercial deals using some high altitude test equipment to the Kirtland Air Force Base, Paul has uncovered the following:

There's covert evidence that the US Air Force is monitoring satellites launched in the Soviet Union at that time. He interpreted some of these evidences as having to do with extraterrestrial living on earth.

Paul has spent most of his life bothered about all the disinformation fed by the US Air Force ufologist William Moore in order to distract him from delving into secret military project at Kirtland. He eventually died in 2006 after his heath deteriorated from a nervous breakdown.

The conspiracy theory didn't end with Paul's death and has spawned more bizarre theories about the Dulce base. It now centers on some joint technical and medical cooperation between aliens and human experts to study genetics where horrific experiments on animals and humans have taken place in the bases between the 70s and 80s and that there have been skirmishes between them from time to time.

What was more interesting was the speculation that the interstellar aliens and the CIA architected the building of the Dulce base under the Apache Indian reservation with the opening at the Archuleta Mesa. The base is said to get its water and power from the Navajo River dumping waste water back. Vibrations and "hums" are often felt at ground level near the Dulce town which further fueled the speculation of activities underground though these could easily be caused by minor tectonic movements.

Is It Real?

In a local interview with a man claiming to have been a security office at the base, Thomas Castello, alleges to have been privy to both sub terrestrial and extraterrestrial beings that were of non-human origins at the base and confirms the genetic mutations occurring in the lowest depths of the base called "Nightmare Hall." The base became the subject of History Channel's UFO Hunters where no evidence have been found to either prove or disprove the theory, leaving it open to the viewer's opinion.
