The Cadillac Seville is a luxury car that was first manufactured by the Cadillac

division of the American brand auto makers General Motors, or GM for short and was produced originally to only be as a limited production specialty model in the 1950s and 60s. It was the second to best vehicle in the Cadillac line up and came right after the top of the line Cadillac of that time, the El dorado. The Seville was to be more focused toward technology than the top of the line Deville was. The Seville was then Re-introduced as a regular line production manufactured vehicle from the years of 1975 to 2004, and at that time the Seville was a smaller top of the line Cadillac brand that was available for purchase everywhere. This vehicle was also American made, which made it more popular for people who wanted to easily obtain parts for their vehicles.

The standard powertrain is now currently a direct-injected 3.6 Liter V6 engine which is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission vehicle, which in the STS will produce a top of 302 horse power or 225 kW and has an awesome 272 lb per foot or 369 Nm of torque and power behind this engine. It also still offers the enhanced automotive safety feature which does include a lane departure and a warning system that was first developed by Mobil eye it also has a blind spot monitoring system alert built in, and a new and more improved version of GM's Stabili Trak stability control system which you need with this Cadillac STS engine.

Cadillac has been a trusted name for many years and since it is American made, parts are cheaper than getting parts over seas from a manufacturer. Also when and if you do need parts for a Cadillac STS engine they are easier to come by and easier to find that alot of other engine types may be.
