In 2009,the size of China's Internet economy reached 74.3 billion yuan, with 56.9 billion yuan more than 2008,with 30.7% growth rate.Looking to the 8% growth rate of gross domestic product (GDP) ,I can say the Internet is one of the most dynamic industries in China,reflecting the new economy, the unique vitality,dynamism and high rate of profits..

The faster growth for B2B sales are recorded in online shopping and online payments, with 99,97% growth rate. E-commerce develop the Internet economy as the driving force.

Growth of the Internet economy,in 2010, is expected to increase to 50% more than the size of annual revenues and will exceed 100 billion yuan(over 14.6 billion U.S.dollars).This predictions are based on the following four main expectations:

First,in 2010 China's economy continues to improve the GDP growth rate up to 9%

2. the tertiary industry growth rate beyond the primary and secondary industries has become the engine of China's development;

3. the Internet development is sponsored by the chinese government

4. in 2010 the number of Internet users will be nearly 500 million people

In the well known conditions of the global economy crisis,the online business are not bright at all... online advertising, B2B sales and e-commerce companies have significant losses and as studies are warned to be ready for 8-9 years economic crisis!

While large companies operating on the Internet should take very seriously to avoid operational risk and the acceleration of exploration and innovation, somewhere in the world is a brighter place for the Internet economy .... a place called China!
