One of the principal advantages of the smokeless cigarette is, logically enough, the lack of smoke. The vapor exhaled by e-smokers may look like regular smoke, but it's harmless vapor. It doesn't linger in the air long and it doesn't have any tobacco scent. This leads many of the people who have switched to these devices to want to use them in areas where smoking is prohibited. Some venues will allow this and some will not. The main point is that it is entirely up to the venue whether or not you can use a smokeless cigarette in their establishment. If you can, there are several things about these devices that make them far more desirable to have around than regular cigarettes.

Regular cigarettes, of course, leave ashes all over the place, a trait that isn't shared with a smokeless cigarette. Those ashes are one of the primary parts of smoking that people find objectionable. The ashes don't just end up in the ash tray. They coat people's hair, clothes, furniture and can leave a nasty film on automobile and house windows. For some venue owners, the absence of ashes makes smoking a vapor cigarette in their establishment completely acceptable.

A smokeless cigarette also lacks the smell of tobacco. While some smokers get understandably frustrated with not being able to smoke in every restaurant and bar they visit, there is an understandable argument as to why this is objectionable. For people who don't smoke tobacco, the smell of the burning plant is much more pungent. This means that the smoke on their clothes and in their hair reeks, especially when it goes stale. To avoid having to deal with this, many former smokers have switched over to vapor cigarettes, which allow them to puff away without offending anyone.

As long as the property owner allows it, a smokeless cigarette is usually far preferable to a tobacco cigarette when you're out on the town. They also come in stylish designs that have made some types very popular. There are designs available that look like traditional cigarettes, as well. If they're allowed in your favorite restaurant or nightspot, there's little risk of these smokes getting confused with the tobacco cigarettes they emulate. Between the lack of smell, the lack of ashes and the quickly-dispersing vapor, it's apparent that you're smoking something far different than a regular cigarette.
