The Sony Ericsson Spiro Green provides both social networking as well as music with

its integrated Walkman player alongside preloaded Facebook and Twitter. Other features inlaced a 2 megapixel camera and a full HTML web browser.

Connectivity is offered by the micro USB connection with USB support offering easy synchronisation with any compatible computer including file sharing; and USB mass storage which offers mass file sharing and data backup for the handset to a connected computer. The Bluetooth connection is also capable of providing a fast file sharing connection between compatible devices over a short range wirelessly.

The handset features a 2 megapixel camera for photo and video capturing with up to 2 times digital zoom for enhanced clarity. The user can store many photos with the microSD card slot which supports up to 16 gigabytes of storage on top of the internal 5 megabytes initially offered. Both pictures and videos can be shared via multimedia messaging (MMS) or alternatively instantly shared on the integrated Facebook or Twitter applications respectively.

The Spiro Green edition has a full Walkman music player which sorts tracks, offers seamless playlist creation and allows selection by artist, album or genre for fast reference to the most wanted tunes. More tunes can be downloaded with the PlayNow application, and unrecognised music while out and about can be recorded on the internal Sound Recorded for use with the TrackID application. TrackID matches the recording to its track details and provides download information to the user on success. Additionally, the handset also provides the user with live music and news entertainment through the integrated FM radio with RDS support.

The phone has a compact and impressive design featuring a small FT display above dedicated Walkman music player keys and navigation with a slide out alphanumeric keypad supported by predictive text for fast text input when text messaging or on social networks. The Web is also offered through the handsets Obigo Q7 web browser for HTML web browsing and the Bookmarks allows the user to store favourite pages for future visiting.

The Sony Ericsson Spiro Green allows the user to enjoy all of their music seamlessly while on the move and still keeps them connected to their friends through the call, messaging and social networking features and integrated applications offered. In addition, the user is provided with a great camera for photo and video capture, an FM radio and impressive connectivity.
