The Sony Ericsson Spiro Offers 2 Megapixel Camera

The Sony Ericsson Spiro offers a 2 megapixel camera phone capable of capturing both photos and video recording, assisted by 2 times digital zoom

. It provides BLuetooth to allow these to be easily shared, or alternatively they can be quickly uploaded via the Facebook or Twitter applications to share with friends.

The handset is also an impressive music player with Sony Walkman player featured offering simple and fast access to a music library sorted by artist, album and track, and able to be self-sorted into preferred playlists. The PlayNow application offers an easy way to download more music and games to the phone also. If an unknown track is playing where the user happens to be, a simple few seconds of sound recording can be presented to the TrackID application which will recognise the track and provide its information.

Music can be enjoyed through the connectivity of stereo Bluetooth or via the 3.5mm jack plug. Music ringtones are also supported in formats MP3 and AAC to provide a more interesting and personalised set of ringtones. Music, photos and videos can be shared with other phones through the Bluetooth connection also, or through the USB support offered. Further entertainment can be sought from the integrated FM radio with RDS, with Java support for games and Media all kept together in one place for convenience.

The Spiro has full internet access through GSM, GPRS and EDGE networks. It has a full HTML and standards supporting web browser, Obigo Q7, to present websites in their full appearance, while offering bookmarking to quickly find favourite sites. In addition to this, for social networking both Facebook and Twitter applications are pre-configured.

The phone has easy messaging with text and picture messaging offered, including predictive text, as well as Conversations providing a more instant messaging style of SMS. A sound recorder is also included for simple voice notes which can be inserted into an MMS message also.
