. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz provides its users with an 8.1 mega pixel camera with smile detection, GPS and quick and easy connection to there favourite websites all in HD quality.

Sony Ericsson have really pulled it out of the bag this time. Lightweight and very slight The Vivaz comes in a variety of cosmic colours, such as Moon silver, Galaxy Blue, Venus Ruby and of course in standard black. As connectivity goes it has Bluetooth and WiFi as you may expect.

The handset comes with TUI (Touch User Interface) which is remarkably reliable and responsive, so whether your browsing through your contacts or surfing the web with the high speed WiFi or 3G, its almost instantaneous with a glide of your fingertip. As well as having accelerometer, which is an auto rotate function, the phone also has an accurate handwriting recognition function.

We are in an era where we keep in touch with friends and family via social networking sites. The best example of this is Facebook with over 250 million active users world wide and this number is ever growing. Facebook has been built in to the Vivaz to allow you to stay connected to your friends where ever you are.

The phone is also fully compatible with YouTube. You now have the ability to record HD quality videos and upload them to the site for all to see, so if you have captured a masterpiece and want to gloat about your work a quick flick of the finger has it on display for the world to see! The phone also has a TV output so you can watch such masterpieces on the big screen.

Another gem included in this wonderful package is aGPS which can be used not only for everyday navigation , but also in collaboration with the geo tagging function the phone supports, so you can add information on locations and places to your high definition images.

Media-Go is another addition to the long list of tech this phone houses. It is a simple, straightforward way of transferring media from your PC or laptop to your phone using the USB connection via an effortless drag and drop system. Media-Go also automatically converts files so they are suitable for use on your phone and maximise quality.

Sony Ericsson are famous for the high quality walkman functions which they include in there models, and the Vivaz is no exception with its usual premium speaker quality and first rate head phones as standard. The phone itself has a 75MB memory, but it comes with various sized Micro SDs up to 32GB, so you have plenty of potential space to hold your MP3s and videos.

Lastly we have the phones impressive camera, an 8.1 mega pixel powerhouse, with 4x digital zoom, capable of face detection and more astoundingly smile detection. The smile detection feature enables your camera to distinguish the whopping great grins on your victims faces and automatically capture the image for you.

In conclusion to my review, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz can quite easily hold its own in the current market. It is very chic and will appeal to most tastes. This phone offers a heap of useful functions at the sweep of your thumb. The world his quite literally at your fingertips!
