The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro provides the Timescape application from the manufacturer

which amalgamates all messages, Facebook statuses and Twitter tweets into one simple to see application with the latest from the top, downwards. It also has a customisable home screen with one hand control and many other impressive features.

The handset features a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with a flash and video light capable of both video recording and photo capture, with automatic geotagging capabilities also. Images and videos can be shared with friends instantly through social networking platforms such as the integrated Facebook application or through Timescape on Facebook or Twitter. Alternatively they can be sent via multimedia message (MMS).

The X10 Mini Pro has a Webkit web browser for full HTML webpage rendering onscreen with pan and zoom functionality also to provide clearer text and inmates from websites. The user can gain fast access to their favourite websites through the bookmarks feature too. Meanwhile, the phone has the NeoReader barcode scanner which lets the user take a photo of a barcode when out shopping and get web-based information on the product.

For entertainment the user is unrestricted with this handset which has video streaming which is more memory efficient for the users storage memory, video playback for the users own video productions and YouTube for entertaining videos on the Web. 3D games are also present for gamers on the go.

Music entertainment is available with the Music Player which sorts tracks with album artwork and enables tracks in the MP3 and AAC audio file formats to be used as music ringtones also. Meanwhile, TrackID allows the user to find track information from a few seconds of sound recording live music, which may then be available for download on PlayNow. Playback can be wireless with Bluetooth stereo A2DP profile or through headphones with the 3.5mm audio jack. Live music and news can also be enjoyed with the integrated FM stereo radio with RDS support.

The phone which can offer fast broadband connectivity through its Wi-Fi capabilities, also offers email and Exchange ActiveSync for corporate email along with simple file sharing and synchronisation possibilities with its microUSB connection and Bluetooth wireless sharing between compatible devices.

The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro provides a very compact handset with a simple design, elegant display and full slide out keyboard offering many great features including its 5 megapixel camera and special features such as the NeoReader and location based services for information when on the move.
