As this sport is based on mud, therefore light vehicles do not work for it. So people who are willing to participate in this game have to get their own heavy four wheeler vehicles.
Winners are determined in this mud drags on the basis of two aspects. Firstly if all the vehicles are successful in reaching their destination, then on the basis of time winners are declared. The vehicle which will take the minimum time to reach the destination will win the game. Here the contestants give their whole energy to be the winner.
In case if all the cars are unable to reach their destination, then the vehicle that covers the maximum destination will be declared the winner. Here in this situation only the distance is calculated, not the time.
If you go back to the history of this sport then you will find a big change in terms of the cars used in this game. The time when this game actually started, only huge pick up trucks were used. These were very heavy in size but as the time passed, the vehicles changed. From pick up trucks to tractors to superchargers, all these changes occurred in just a little span of time.
