The Subclass 132 Visa Introduced For High Profile Entrepreneurs

The Australian immigration department has implemented the business innovation and

investment visa for paving way for experienced businessmen and entrepreneurs thereby building the economic hubs across the nation. The investments made by such immigrants in the remote areas of the Australian outback would go a long way in improving the social standings of the local communities. In the business category the Department of Immigration and Citizenship has eased the process by introducing two three more visa under the subclass 188 and subclass 888. They are business investor stream, significant investor visa, and business innovation stream and business talent (permanent) subclass 132. All these categories include both provisional and permanent sections.

The Australian immigration business talent visa is meant for applicants selecting Australia as a permanent base for their family. This talent visa provides a direct entry into the country on permanent without moving on provisional grounds of four years. Hence it is applicable and specified for only talented, highly skilled business professionals with collateral asset.

The talent business visa is divided into two streams, the significant business history stream and the venture capital entrepreneur stream. For both these streams, the applicant must show a total of AUD$ 5 million, split into personal assets of AUD 1.5 million and annual yield as 3 million. If not the next criteria is to obtain AUD1 million or more as funds from any Australian venture firm.

For this Australian immigration business talent visa the applicant must submit personal credentials in the Expression of Interest (EOI) and further apply through Skillselect program. The selected stream has to be mentioned in the EOI. The number of states or territories the applicant is interested, should also be specified. The person should be less than 55 years of age and exhibit talented skills in business.

This talent immigration business visa gives free access to the individual to travel to and from Australia at will. One can study in Australia as well after which the person has to prove his ability to do business on a large scale. The immigrant educational qualification and skills can inculcate business ideas beneficial for the employment of the Australian population and the Government.

Under the significant business history stream, the investor must show personal assets worth AUD400 000 and a total revenue of AUD1.5 million (that can be funded in Australia) earned in a span of two or four years. The applicant must show an annual yield of 3 million and 50%, or 30%, or 10% part of any company not involved in unethical activities. Above all this, the applicant must show an inner enthusiasm and desire to play the role of business professional in Australia.

To apply for Venture capital entrepreneur stream, the applicant must obtain beforehand an amount of AUD1 million or more from Australian firm. This is a guarantee of proof to set up a new venture in Australia for commercial purposes.

For the business talent visa, the applicant must specify in detail the mode of involvement in the business and explain how profitable it can prove to the Australian society. The mode or method of business so chosen must be unique. A proof of providing at least 15 positions or more for employment is to be showcased.
