He spilt some water on the earth accidentally once a time and splashed some water on a customer's trousers.He was so nervous for fear that the consumer would scold him for that.To his surprise,the customer didn't complain about it at all,on the contrary,he persuaded the shop keeper to keep him.The customer taught Li Jiacheng something before he left the shop.He said that everyone should pay special attention to what he is doing at the moment and be cautious all the time.Li Jiacheng regarded caution as his motto from then on.As time passes,he can judge the nature and the intrinsic quality of a person through one's characters,habits and actions.This gives him a big hand for his later career.
He resigned the work as an assistant in the shop and began his career from a salesman to a customer manager.He got ready for everything three years later and decided to devote himself to his career from then on.
He rent a small factory near Victoria and bought an old plasticator to began his factory named Chang Jiang Plastic Factory.Then,he made some market researches to found that there was a huge demand of plastic flowers in the market.As a result,he produced plastic flowers day and night and got huge benefits from that.
He became a multimillionaire when he was only 30.Nevertheless,when the plastic flowers became more and more popular in the market,he realized that he should transform and adjust his career.Somebody thought he was too conservative while he considered that caution and predictability is the essential quality as a businessman.
As a consequence,he started real estate from then on.Actually,in the mid period of 1960,people who have wealth and success all escaped from real estate since the condition in inland of Hong Kong was not so good.However,Li Jiacheng was fairly cautious,he analyzed the situation at that time and pour all of his fund into real estate.A lot of multimillionaires considered him as a crazy person at that time,some of his friends persuaded him don't take such kind of risk,nevertheless,he insisted on that regardless of other's persuasion.
