If you lift weights in an HIIT format you actually turn weight lifting into a cardiovascular exercise and you will burn more calories during the exercise than if you ran at a steady pace for the same amount of time.
High intensity interval training is simply performing one exercise with maximum effort before moving to another exercise after a short period of rest. Perform the exercises in a circuit and complete as many circuits as possible. If you use this exercise format doing the exercises above you will reduce belly fat much more quickly than doing anything else.
