After much chat, mushy nothings, background checking and stuff, you finally reached the moment of truth: the third date. Most of the awkward moments are now counted as part of the past. But I can honestly tell you that the worst is yet to come because this is the time where there are questions that have to be answered and decisions that has to be made. And why is that? Well, my man, that is because the two of you haven't hit the jackpot yet. You two are just dating. You know what I mean? Dating is not an end. It is merely a means to the end or rather the means for a wonderful relationship.

I know that you must be in cloud nine by this time but as I have mentioned earlier, there are yet questions lurking in your mind such as: what more could happen to us after the previous dates? Is she the right girl for me? If yes, then what would be the right strategy to make her more smitten? Is this date going to be the start of something wonderful? What can I do to make it last? These are some of the questions that might get in your head and there are many other possible things that might happen and I am telling you pal that you have to be ready to assess yourself by this time. This is the time for you to use your skills in decision making because as they say, we men are the ones who should lead a relationship.

The third date serves as the point in which you decide whether to go for it or not. In this date, you should weigh your options and determine if this is what you really want. This could be the turning point of your blooming relationship with that girl. Word to the wise, don't think too much. Do not be so paranoid. Just think about your goal and everything will fall to its rightful place.

Do not over think your plans because it may look as if you staged the whole show, especially if you are dating a smart girl. If it looks as though you faked too much, she might jump to the conclusion that you have something you want to hide and you are too scared to show your real self. The only thing left to be done is to try and be natural. This is the time to unleash the true you and if it doesn't work out, well, the odds are that they won't work in the future. She has to know what she's going to deal with anyway.

There are a lot of things that might happen on the third date if you think about it, the third date is just a date. There is just one bit difference. The first two dates are just a battle of wits, a kind of mind play that we do to the opposite sex to win their interest. Nothing physical, nothing too serious but the third date is different because anything you do on the third date may lead to goodbye or if you're one lucky guy, the third date might lead to some bed action. Now ain't that something?

One last thing that every man should realize is that whether a date ends up to saying goodbyes or whether it ends up in bed, the only thing that matters is that you have made the best out of it. Meeting different people help you grow and therefore increases your chances of finding the one for you. Sometimes, it is just a matter of being patient.
