The Tiger And Heart Throb Of Indian Cinema: Salman Khan

Often known as Bollywood's "bad boy," his knack of walking into trouble has overshadowed people's perception of him as an actor

. Sallu has been featured as the bad guy of the industry many a times. But common man claims that, though Salman is macho hunk but his heart is made of pure gold.

Born on December 27, 1965 Salman Khan is the son of the legendary writer Salim Khan, who wrote down many super-hits in the history like Sholay (1975), Deewaar (1975), and Don (1978). Sallu started his carrier in acting in 1988 through supporting role in movie Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988). And then started with the leading role in the romantic hit of box office like Maine Pyar Kiya (1989). And then he became "Heart Throb Of Indian cinema."

Salman showed his outstanding performance in Saajan (1991), Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! (1994), Andaz Apna Apna (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Khamoshi: The Musical (1996), in the Box Office. The transformations of salman bhai can be sensitive, funny, aggressive, vulnerable, charming and many as demands of the role.

He was arrested in 1998 by the local police from shooting location of Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United (1999), for killing wild animals and spent a week behind the bars. Likewise many cases were filed against him like three cases of killing black bucks and Chinkaras and another of illegal possession of arms, also hit the headlines after he crashed his Land Cruiser near the American Express bakery in Bandra, in September 2002 killing one man and injuring others.

Known for those roguish concerns,Salman tried to balance his carrer with troubled life. He played an obsessed lover in Tere Naam (2003) , the emotionally charged movie. that translated into good reviews and a outstanding at the box office. He not only managed to revive his career, but the producers and distributors were happy.

Internationally his work was noticed in the movie Phir Milenge (2004) where he played the role of an AIDS patient and was very well appreciated by the World Health Organization (WHO) for helping them presenting the problems of AIDS patient in today.

He also launched Being Human - Salman Khan Foundation in 2007. The charitable organization work for education and health-care. No doubt Sallu Bhai is kind hearted and a very good actor who raised the standard of Bollywood.

He break the records of so many movies. More recently, he came up with multiple record breaking and super hit movies on box office like Dabangg (2010), Ready (2011) and Bodyguard (2011) to name a few.
