The Titleist 909 D3 Driver

The Titleist 909 driver is the new in 2008 and it already has a wide market since it came. The Titleist has designed three major driver models so far. They are the 909DComp, 909D2, and 909D3 drivers. Golfers can have more options right now.

In my opinion, the 909 D3 drivers are best for last choice. Better players are going to love this club! So today we are going to talk about this clubs. I knew this set of drive when I was in the market for a new driver and after testing and playing rounds with almost all of the top drivers; this club was more than exceptional. My normal ball shape is a draw, and honestly I don't like it. When I set up to the ball the clubhead looks slightly open, which is what I like to see with my driver and fairway woods.

Like all of the other 909 models, the 909 D3 features a number of shaft options which can be fine tuned with the rear weight screw on the sole of the club to ensure a perfectly matched club no matter what shaft you choose to install in it. At the same time, it features 440cc the club head, which is a slightly smaller head compared with the previous models. It is designed as high performance titanium driver with a full pear profile that produces to create a mid launching and low spinning driver for the player with a faster club head speed, or those seeking a slightly lower trajectory off the tee. The classic Titleist pear shape provides a low and deep CG (center of gravity) for reduced spin, higher MOI (moment of inertia) and longer, straighter drives. A CNC milled face with thicker, centrally located trapezoidal rings is surrounded by thinner areas to maximize ball speed across the face. The shaped sole also provides chassis strength, reduces vibration and tunes the impact acoustics for solid feel and better sound. An extended, full pear profile provides playability through a deep CG for stability while maintaining shot workability and control and an integral titanium hosel design saves weight, provides solid feel and allows for more shaft options.

In a word, the smaller head, deeper face, and slightly different paint color provide golf players a very pretty club to set down behind the ball, and meanwhile this adds the confidence that you will be able to do whatever your game is capable of doing to a golf ball off the tee! Generally speaking, this model is excellent and in my view this also is one of the best new drivers in the market in 2011, so get along to get a Titlist from suppliers and try one out at discount golf clubs.
