The Toshiba 32av615db - A First Look

If you are looking for a smaller television that can fit into a smaller space but

still liven up the room and bring you good quality, you might want to look into purchasing the Toshiba 32AV615DB for its size and quality picture.

This also probably a good model for those who are looking for a good quality picture in a flat screen television but they don't want to have to put out a lot of money on one. Not everyone can afford some of the price tags that are on some of these flat screens, so the Toshiba 32AV615DB again might fit the bill, with its lower than average price tag.

This particular model may be HD ready but the one disappointment with it is that the set is not the top quality 1080p that is ideal for HD readiness, instead it only stands at 720p resolution. Most say that for it to be top notch HD it needs to be 1080p. But if you are not wanting total perfection then settling for 780p should be alright because it is the lowest resolution that you can get away with for broadcasting HD.

Another drawback for some people when they go and consider the Toshiba 32AV615DB is the fact that is does not playback the Blue Ray DVDs that are now available just about everywhere. Unless you are a huge movie fanatic, this probably would not be an issue.

If you are a big time gaming person there might also be another issue that might be a problem for you. Although it will play games well, if you are a big time gamer and are looking for perfection in your games, this model probably isn't for you because it only has a 50Hz processor rather than a 100Hz processor. Which means it only refreshes the screen 50 times per second rather than 100 times per second.

In order for you to be able to enjoy this televisions outstanding picture quality, it will take some time to achieve it. Once you have taken it out of its container and figured out where to display it, you will then more than likely have to work with the controls for a while in order to get the quality picture that you expect from the Toshiba 32AV615DB.

After all the adjusting has been complete, you will find that the color on this television is life like as any other on the market and the contrast and clarity of the picture is of the highest quality possible nearly as good as those with higher price tags.

You will be surprised at all the extra features this model has, especially being that it is only a 720p HDTV. It has enough inputs to set an entire entertainment center as well as hook up for your PC and RCA inputs. It also has three HMDIs, two SCARTS and RGB ports as well as being able to use the screen as your monitor for your computer. For the price it is quite packed with features more than one would expect from a lower end model.
