The Two Most Important Tasks That Will Grow Your MLM Business!


Since I started in network marketing, I have taken a huge number of training courses, seminars and webinars, all teaching new ways to grow my MLM business. I have observed the way successful network marketers grow their business. I have also paid attention to the daily tasks I have been consistent with, that have helped me reach a six figure income during my second full year in network marketing.

There are a few things successful network marketers do, that set them apart and make them excel far beyond most of the others out there trying to become rich in network marketing. These may seem obvious but here are the two most important daily tasks for growing your MLM business. If you do these each day diligently you will be successful.

The first is to get leads to talk with every day. I believe that you need to talk with at least ten to thirty people per day to make your MLM business grow fast. There are an endless number of ways to do this. Some effective examples of offline prospecting include, calling realtors in your area and gathering business cards from the bulleten boards of coffee shops and diners. Ask them if they would like information on a side project that would not affect their current businesses but would bring in another stream of income. They are all business people who may be hurting right now because of the economy and may need another income coming in!


Another offline option is taking post it notes and putting them in high traffic places like gas pumps. The post it note should ask only good producers who are superstars who want to earn over $50k per year to call. You will be surprised at the number of people who call back. There are many more offline prospecting techniques, and you need to get out there every day bringing in leads. Without leads you have no chance of growing your business!


Going online to get leads is also a great way to grow your business. If you are patient enough to spend four or more months, consistently developing online marketing campaigns to really begin to see a large number of prospects coming in it is worth the hard work and the wait. Contacting people through Facebook and Twitter, creating your own business blog, learning techniques like article marketing, video marketing, and online webinars among many others, can be very effective prospecting techniques.

The second most important task that will grow your mlm business is to hold weekly presentations to tell your leads about your opportunity. Every successful MLM business that I have observed holds regular meetings to educate new prospects and to turn leads into business builders and customers. They also will help your downline organization grow as well because they can join your presentations with their own leads and they can learn to hold their own meetings. Ask your upline or another more experienced team member to help you with your first in-home presentation. Then make this a regular MLM activity and you will grow your team quickly.

Another form of presentation is the webinar or a conference call. These are great online forms of in-home presentations. Whether you talk to a lead that originated online or offline, by holding an informative webinar or conference phone call that presents your business opportunity, you have a great way of taking your propects closer to joining your MLM business.

Prospecting and presenting your opportunity to your leads are the two most important tasks that you should focus on every week to grow your MLM business. You will see your enrollments sky rocket and you will see your downline teams grow as well. These two activities will help develop you and your business builders into the MLM leaders that every successful network marketing business needs to have.
