The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) is South Florida's most advanced medical care facility. It is derived of 1200 physicians in over 100 specialties and 800 staff members. For 6 years in a row, UM Bascom Palmer Eye Institute has won the title of being the best hospital in the nation for ophthalmology. Three of its other campus divisions were also ranked, Ear, Nose & Throat (18), Geriatric Care (45) and Neurology & Neurosurgery (39). In addition to this, the nation's Best Doctors list consists of 200 of UM's physicians.
