Everyone has a dream vacation. Somewhere in the subconscious state of a person, there is that place where he dreams to go. That place basically holds what a person wishes to see and experience in his entire lifetime. This is probably one of the reasons why most people save up and spend for vacations and dream destinations.

There are many beautiful sights around the world for people to see. Depending on the preferences of an individual, there seems to be an endless list of breathtaking views and amazing destinations. A wide range of choices is awaiting the eager tourist and visitor.

According to statistics, one of the most visited places in the whole world is Africa. Africa provides a mysterious delight that no one can certainly refuse. Aside from the fact that it offers a diverse wildlife and rich culture; Africa offers spectacular views and awesome places to see. While South Africa caters to a number of tourists each year, the world's 31st largest country lies on the East of this beautiful continent with equally magnificent sceneries.

Tanzania is one of the most populated countries in Eastern Africa. It is bordered on the Northeast with the grandiose Mount Kilimanjaro; and Lake Victoria in the West. Moreover, Tanzania offers many large significant wild parks and national parks including Udzungwa Mountains National Park.

Udzungwa Mountains National Park houses a diverse tropical rainforest, mountain forest, steppe, grassland, and miombo woodland. There are more than 400 bird species and 2500 plant species found in Udzungwa Mountains. Moreover, Udzungwa Mountains National Park has the second largest biodiversity collection in Africa.

This national park is a part of the Eastern Arc Mountains which is home to primate and known species. In fact, among the six primate species that have been recorded to have originated from these areas, five are endemic. This means that these species are only found in these particular areas, making these species indigenous to the Udzungwa Mountains. Indeed, the Udzungwa Mountains is the most outstanding and primeval wilderness parks in Africa.

Another major attraction in Tanzania is the Sanje waterfall, which is an astonishing plunge into the Kilombero Valley over the Udzungwa ridge. A Tanzanian tour is never complete without a trek to this famous waterfall which is also home to primate species such as the Black and White Colobus and the Sykes monkeys.

The view from the top of the Sanje Falls is just so panoramic that the two-hour walk to the top is nothing compared to the natural beauty that meets the eyes. Since the sub-montane forest is just along the river's edge, one gets to experience the forest at close hand while strolling along the river. To top it all, a variety of bryophytes and epiphytes grow along the river banks, making the Sanje Falls a naturalist's haven as well.
