The Task of Alumni Associations

Alumni association is a group of people who graduated from this or that college or university. Usually, alumni associations are organized to help graduates to keep in touch with their friends, to support them. The members of these organizations see their mission in helping each other in the career issues, in keeping and transferring traditions of an association, and in keeping priceless experience of every generation of graduates.

There are various alumni associations all over the United States. Each college and university has its own alumni association. Some of them are big and influential; others are not so strong. But, definitely, all of them are created for good purposes.

The University of South Alabama National Alumni Association

The University of South Alabama National Alumni Association is an organization with a long history. It was created in 1974.

The task of the alumni association is to support the University of South Alabama, to maintain relationship between the University, its graduates, undergraduates and friends. Besides, University of South Alabama National Alumni Association offers services, programs and various recourses for the benefit of graduates, undergraduates, and the University.

The Structure of the Alumni Association

The University of South Alabama National Alumni Association bears resemblance to a real state. It has its own Directors, President, Vice-President, Secretary, Executive Director, and the Treasurer. All of them perform the tasks they are responsible of.

The University of South Alabama National Alumni Association organizes various social events, competitions, scholarship programs. Such activity of the alumni association makes it attractive to all the students of the country.

This alumni association has its own university ambassadors. These people help the alumni association with funds and recruitment affairs.

The University of South Alabama National Alumni Association publishes its newsletters four times a year. It contains information about alumni, various cultural events.
