A carefully planned out garden using aggregates also creates a low maintenance space, which can look highly effective when teamed with plants of contrasting levels and colours. Aggregates are perfect in this capacity, especially for partially covering large spaces such as lawns. If your garden is not likely to be used for recreational purposes, this could be something to consider. Even a small town garden can be transformed into something quite special by combining contrasting aggregates with materials such as timber. Gravel also provides plants with added drainage, allowing water and nutrients to filter through to the soil, so not only are aggregates a good way to add interest to your garden; they also benefit it in other ways as well.
