Faulty machinery. These malfunctioning machineries should be replaced for the safety of the workers. You can file a claim if your employer was informed of the problem concerning the machinery and did not act on it.
Hazards. These refer to insufficient lighting, trailing cables or any stocks scattered all over the workplace which may cause injuries. If accidents occur because of hazards in the workplace, you can file a claim.
Trips, slips or falls due to spillages or obstructions. If someone happened to have left something lying around the workplace, which caused you to trip, slip, or fall and led to injuries, a claim can be filed. This means that your employers may not have briefed your co-workers well on the health and safety policy or your co-workers were simply careless. Spillages without the appropriate warnings may also cause injuries that entitle you to file a claim.
Shortage on employees. When there is a shortage of people especially in the manufacturing industry, this may mean that the present workers would need to speed up work. If you were in the same employment condition and this caused you some injuries or illness due to being overworked, a claim can be filed.
