There is no such thing as an entirely white Golden Retriever
. They all are a shade of gold. The dogs that are called "white" golden retrievers are actually very pale cream colored, not white. Golden retrievers are generally very good dogs and they fit nicely into nearly any family.
According to most breeders, it should cost no more to purchase a pure bred golden retriever, no matter what color they are. They are still the same good natured family pets if their fur is darker or lighter. If you find someone that is selling full bred dogs but that are asking a higher price for the "white" ones, find another person to purchase it from.
