The Wildbeest Migration

Wildebeest migration has now been termed as the 7th greatest show on earth

. It happens in Kenya from Masaai Mara game reserve. Many visitors have already camped at the Masaai Mara to see for themselves this great Mother Nature spectacle. It's also the greatest journey of survival as the animals that include zebras and some antelopes try to evade the crocodiles that lay with their mouth open ready to break the animal's feet. Here only the strong ones survive. Wildebeest migration attracts millions and millions of these animals. The journey is usually very long and takes about 9000km from the plains of Serengeti in Tanzania to Masaai Mara in search for fresh pasture. The peak of this journey is at the Masai Mara because all the animals that close survive for a long time. Crocodiles are not the only predators' as lions and hyenas also wait for their time on the other side of the river. Vultures also hover around waiting for those animals' that are not able to continue with their journey. Wildebeest migration in Masaai Mara is the 7th wonder no one wants to miss. The game reserve is located 280 km south east of Nairobi the capital city of Kenya, and is one of the most visited game reserves. Over 400, 000 visitors go there every year to watch this great show. Visitors come from all over the wild just for this amazing Mother Nature show that takes place between August and October. You can access the Mara through road or air and for sure you won't be disappointed.
