Chinese goods can be found all over the world. Chinese goods are often preferred because of their quality and low prices. From safety pin to sub marine, China produces everything; however China is known for its electronic goods.

If you are in Beijing, checkout the Hongqiao Market for reasonably priced electronic goods. The market lies in the south central section of Beijing. It sells mostly electronic items like Camcorders, Electronic Dictionary, CD Players, mp3 players and other electronic goods. As compared to the bigger malls, the goods are available at throw away prices here. However these are non-branded items or in other words these are manufactured by lesser known brands in South East Asia. This place is suited for those looking for cheap electronic goods as souvenirs or for students and those on shoe string budget.

For better quality electronic goods, you must head for Zhongguancun area situated in the Hai Dian District, North West end of Beijing. Here you will find a wide range of electronic item such as computers, mobile phones, mp3 players, digital cameras, laptops etc. The area is especially known for computer and it accessories and you can also get computer software at pretty low rates. Zhongguancun comprises of several shopping malls with Taipingyang Digital Market, Dinghao Electronic Market and Zhonghai Electronic Market being the more popular ones. In this market you can find local and foreign branded items and fake copies as well.

There is also a Bainaohui Computer Mall in Beijing which deals in electronic goods. The mall is located in the Chaoyang District and deals in computers and its accessories, mobile phones, fax machine, gaming devices, digital cameras, scanners, printers and host of other electronic equipment. The prices are a bit higher as compared to those in Zhongguancun but you can always bargain.

Shenzhen city in China is famous for its shopping centers. Huaqiang Bei and SEG Electronics Markets located here give you a great bargain on electronics goods. Huaqiang Bei is one huge complex exclusively for electronics. From resistors and LEDs to mainframe computers, this place sells everything and is a haven for tech lovers. Batteries from Sony, Canon, Dell etc are also available here. SEG Electronics Market is the best place for building your computer; the prices are not fixed and are negotiable. Behind the SEG Electronics Market, you will find smaller malls selling un-branded laptops, ipods, iphones and mobile phones. Second hand things are also available here.
