They go through a number of trials and tribulations and Alpha Omega is commonly known as the last song in the cycle, as the wife finally leaves the husband alone in their decrepit home in Tallahassee, Florida. The song tells of the simple waking moments of the husband as he makes boiled peanuts for breakfast and as he sits down to eat he finds the note from his wife on scented stationary detailing her leaving. Autoclave A love that cannot stand is the theme of Autoclave named after the medical device that sterilizes and destroys even the most hardy bacteria and cell life forms. The narrator likens his love as an autoclave, always destroying those it comes into contact with, unable to sustain life.
