The first three cards from the Sword's elemental suite
My interest since the past couple of years has been in tarot cards
, astrology, occult knowledge and practices. I am not expecting others to believe or view my interests the way I do. Just reading this article from the start till the end, will make me thankful to my reader for his effort. The tarot cards comprise of 78 cards; out of which 22 form the Major arcane and 56 form the minor arcane. Each card is relevant and integral in its own way. Today,
I intend to discuss three cards from the swords' suite. The swords is the elemental suite corresponding to the element air.
The first card is the ace of swords, which implies the elemental energy at its peak, unadultrated and very raw. This card implies intellegence and the process of thinking at its best. A desire to reason, analyse and logically summarise every aspect of life. It is a card which implies extreme emotions and a course of action which is unpopular but the only way out. It is not that people who are intellegent or love to think do not have sexual desires. The sexual desires implied by this card are illicit, impulsive, short term and that which do not lead to a stable relationship.
The next card is the two of swords. This card is ruled by the planet moon, the planet of
emotions, illusions and the mind. This card implies a situation where a patch up with an old enemy is required and is necessary in order to get your work done. An old enemy means someone with whom you do not see eye to eye. Add to that this suite implies someone who has a streak of independence, ego and a way of thinking that is not acceptable to the normal society. Patch up is not easy when we ourselves do not wish to go ahead with the same. It cannot be ignored since that makes survival difficult. It is this duality of life we need to overcome in order to survive and at the same time be able to complete our tasks. Now, please do not assume that paying a bribe or giving a gift will make things easier and help you escape the patch up or confronting your enemy with a proposal to make truce. Because when swords' cards turn up, it implies that there is shortage of funds or it is difficult to procure funds even for day to day survival.
The next card is the three of swords. This is a card ruled by the planet saturn. This card implies bitterness, controlled anger and feeling of being used and dumped in a relationship. A relationship that is physical, sexual and illicit but not legal. May be one of the partners has used this relationship to his or her advantage and has no intention to carry it forward or acknowledge it in public or society. This card implies that emotionally you have reached your saturation and you cannot tolerate it any further. You need to seek an outlet to vent your frustration. Suffering in silence is fine so as to maintain one's dignity but not beyond a point. Also, the ruling planet of this card i.e. saturn. Saturn as a planet will make you suffer in excess but through suffering it teaches you what one must learn so as to survive. It makes you overcome your own limitations, it helps you set new benchmarks; which you will only realise when survival is what matters and society or the physical appearance of life is of no importance to you. What you suffer becomes a medium or a module of learning. Something that we realise very late but with a fond memory and thank god for making us survive.
I have covered three cards in this article i.e. ace of swords, two of swords and three of swords. Any feedback or suggestion is welcome. My web address is: www.taroochi.org, email: zenith_400@yahoo.co.in, cell: +91 8097374086. God bless.
