The most Popular Horse Racing Systems Staking Methods
Most people agree, that with horse race betting, the most important thing for a person to get are good horse racing systems. However, there is another requirement that is equally as important in many ways, and that is a good staking plan. If you adopt the right staking plan strategy, it could mean the difference between winning and losing in the long run.We will now take a look at a few common staking plans, and how the mechanics of the strategy operate.Level StakesThe level stake bet is the most common form of staking. It is not really a plan as such, but rather what most people just do. The idea is that you work out an amount of your bank, say; a percentage of your bank, and you would use that stake amount on every bet, no matter if you win or lose. So, if your bank was 2000, and you wanted to have a level stake of 3%, then your on going level stake amount would be 60. You would use this amount as your level stake whether you won or lost your bet.The level stake is a low level risk strategy, but at the same time, is a low profitability staking planStaking Percent Amount of BankThis staking plan is very popular, and understandably so. It provides maximum compounding effect with winning streaks, whilst protecting the bank throughout losing streaks. The percentage stake increases and decreases according to whether you win or lose. If you have a bank of say 3000, and you stake at 3%, your betting amount would be 90. If you lose your bet, your new bank would become 2600, and 3% of that amount would be 78. If you were to lose that bet, your loss would be less than it would be if you were using the level staking plan. Likewise, if the bets were winning bet, your stake would be greater than it would be with the level staking plan. This staking strategy is best used with horse racing systems that offer a high strike rate.Ratchet StakesThe ratchet strategy is kind of like a hybrid of the level staking and the percentage staking plan. You initially take a percentage of your bank as your stake. If your bet goes on to win, you calculate your next stake using the same percentage from your new increased bank, and thereby having a new bigger stake. This is no different than the percentage plan at this stage. The difference kicks in when you lose a bet. Now we switch to the level stake, and use that same stake amount as we used in the bet we just lost. We keep using that amount until we eventually increase our bank past the amount we had before we lost the bet, then we continue with the percentage amount which will be greater than the amount of the last bet. Here is an illustration of a betting example. Let's say we have a 3000 bank, and are using a 3% stake amount. Our bet value would be 90. If we lost the bet, our new bank would be 2910. As 3% of the bank would be less than our last stake, we would remain with that last stake until we had won enough to take the bank above the last losing result, where a calculation of 3% would be greater than the stake that we had been using. These are just a few of the many different staking plans you can use. Please take a look at these if you are not currently using a staking plan with your horse racing systems
