Everybody is getting excited about Motorola's new Android Smartphone, the Motorola Flipout! The phone is running the Android 2.1 operating system on a 6ooMHz Cortex A8 processor and it handles itself very capably, it has an integrated social networking client and benefits from a digital camera and FM Radio. The Smartphone operates via the revered and MotoBlur user interface which has been given a slight makeover for the Flipout, the phone has great messaging services and these are well supported by the "Flipout" QWERTY keyboard suggested in the name which pivots out from the back of the chassis.

The sound quality is fine and smooth and the video playback isn't bad either, the phone happily plays a variety of file types including mp3 and mp4 formats and has a useful 3.5mm jack for your favourite headphones. To support the phones entertainment functions Motorola have given the Flipout full Bluetooth connectivity and expandable storage via the microSD slot with upgrades up to 32GB accepted.

The Motorola Flipout has definitely been aimed at the young messaging crowd, matching there requirements for social networking handsets with QWERTY keyboards and with the phones interchangeable casing and customizability is will certainly appeal to them more than it would the business or working class consumer.
