Most therapy jobs require at least a 40 hour week. Many therapists will accommodate patients by working nights and weekends, visiting hospital rooms or homes. These jobs can be physically demanding. Stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting, and standing for long periods of time are common. Sometimes moving heavy equipment and helping patients turn, stand or walk is necessary.
