There is a simple 'activation' step that is required such as twisting the battery or removing a strip. Once this is done, the pre-charged e-cig is ready to be enjoyed.

The disposable e-cig is perfect for someone who wants to experience how it feels to smoke an electronic cigarette. Once the battery has lost its charge, it is useless and must be discarded.

Type 2 - 2 Piece

This device has the atomizer built into the nicotine refill cartridges. They are very convenient as they only require the smoker to charge the batteries and replace the nicotine cartridges when they run out.

Type 3 - 3 Piece

This type has the 3 main components which are the atomizer, battery and nicotine cartridge as separate pieces. 'Veteran' e-cig smokers prefer this unit, as they are used to it, having started smoking e-cigs with this type of unit.

The main advantage of this type of unit is that any component that becomes defective can be easily replaced. Serious electronic cigarette smokes usually opt for this type as they don't mind stocking up on replacement parts. especially if they get a deal on a particular part.

A very useful piece of advice is to stick to the same brands. and not to interchange different parts from different brands. This is due to compatibility issues. For example, do not use the atomizer from Safecig with the battery from Blu. as they will not work together. The well known brands have their own manufacturing designs and are packaged and made differently.
