There Is NO honor in Killing!!

Honour killing may be defined as a situation when a man kills his daughter/ wife/ sister of suspecting her intimacy with some other man or killing to save the honour of the family... Whatever defination justifies honour killing... Honour killing is never justified....

It is a gruesome act still practiced in under developed areas. When innocent girls/ women have to loose their lives at the hands of their "Loved ones" for "Loving ones" or if the girl is not killed she may be forced to experience hell in her life by facing the persecutions...

Those feudal Lords who practice it try to colour their pride by the blood of these helpless souls, When a women's own brother/ father/ husband are thirsty for her blood to heal their hurt Ego and to maintain their honour by exhibition of the corpse...

The real motive behind it may not be just this unethical intimacy, it can also be a way to solve a property dispute, matrimonial problems or for settling scores with the enemy... To get such goals the murders are masked as honour killings... Thus saving their necks and motives and making a poor soul unchaste and raising fingers on her purity...

No doubt unethical relationship is a sin but taking life as its punishment is'nt justified either. It's the work of filthy minds and an excessively male dominated society and a result of poor morels and ethics...

Even the police cant do a lot in this case as it is backed up by the feudal lords who know very well how to silent the tongue by hook or by crook..

Even after the murder is commited the relatives of the victim are branded by their label of unchaste character and in case of girl siblings may destroy more than one life... its like a fire which when ignites burns down the whole house..

Its a tragic story which dosent end with a death it may sometimes result in ages of conflicts and wars between clans...

May God guide us all to the straight path.. Ameen...
