There is no hope for doing perfect research

Research is a part of life; research is through which man gains knowledge. Research is formalized curiosity. It is poking and prying with a purpose.

Life is a constant struggle & the only way we can achieve comfort is by researching. In much of society, research means to investigate something you do not know or understand. Nothing is perfect in life. Every thing changes with time so do our needs, so there is no way one can believe in consistency. Similarly researches also change and nothing done is perfect however better and better can be done. There is always enough room for improvement. A very interesting saying I got to read really inspired me, goes something like this;

"When you take stuff from one writer its plagiarism; but when you take it from many writers, its research."

Griffith is a research intensive University with a rapidly growing national and international profile for innovative and interdisciplinary research. There researches are providing benefits not only to Australia but also to the whole world.I would also like to mention a world famous Aerospace research company Boeing. The Boeing Company is a major aerospace and defense corporation. Boeing has the massive researches over aerospace, aviation etc. Boeing is also conducting a variety of anti-gravity experiments that could rewrite the economics of conventional aviation technologies. From the iconic 747 to the all-new 787 Dreamliner, Boeing delivers a family of technologically advanced and efficient airplanes to customers around the world.

I am a student of Product Design and I study at University of Engineering Technology. Research and case studies are my daily routine. The most interesting research my group recently made was to obtain aluminum from scrap. Scrap included discarded wrappers of juice, milk and anything that had Al sheet. This research came in handy and we estimated to earn a profit of 600/RS in every 3 kg Al recycle. We also took this calculation to Al recycle factory and they really appreciated our effort and they are now working on recycling Al not only from wear parts but also from wrappers. The outcome of any serious research can only be to make two questions grow where only one grew before.

My next research was very interesting and of my flavor. "Role of Women in economic Development of Pakistan" was the topic. The central questions underlying this study were

(1) The present condition of women regarding education.

(2) To what extant did women participate in Economic Development efforts in Pakistan.

(3) How education and employment among women can be popularized.

An estimated two million women are part of the informal urban labor force as home-based workers (piece-rate workers, family business, self-employed entrepreneurs) and these working outside the house (in manufacturing, as construction workers, in domestic services, and as vendors).Some interesting facts I came across were , Rural -women being major contributors in four sub-sectors of the rural economy, crop production, livestock production, cottage industry, household and family maintenance activities, such as transporting water, fuel and fodder to and from the home, food preparation and preservation and caring for children. The informal sector was characterized by low levels of education and skills, lack of capital resources, lower incomes and high degree of segregation. The conclusions I made in the end were, women are integral part of economic process of the country within and outside their homes. Labor contributions would be closer to 35 to 40%. Educating women should be the top priority for their full emancipation in social life. Then comes employment, women must not only win the right to work but also rights of the workers. Some measures to rectify such situations are improving data on women's economic participation, and increasing the proportion of women in education. Increasing rural and urban incomes and productivity.

My research may not be perfect but I believe that this research would shove me to speak out for women. In the end I would quote my thought about research:

"Research to me is as important as or more important than the writing. It is the foundation upon which the book is built".
