The first thing that you have to decide is if you are going to install a surface level above ground pool or an in ground pool. The primary factors that come into play here are the convenience and the expense. However, the ground must be perfectly level where a surface level pool is going to be installed. The problem that is inherent with adding new soil to a low area in order to build it up is that it frequently will need to settle prior to it arriving at its permanent height. This is the reason that it is recommended that as opposed to adding soil to a low area to bring it up, you should choose an area that is higher because it is easier to dig off high soil to match a low area. Above ground pools are wonderful but you do need to take some things into consideration before you install it.
