Florida specialises in family fun. Orlando and Kissimmee have monopolised the thrills and spills market. There are now three water themed attractions in Orlando and on Florida's west coast, Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay offers a great alternative to Orlando's parks.

Shopping

Stylish malls, chic boutiques and thrift shops are among the many Florida retail experiences. Big cities such as Orlando offer mall lovers everything they could wish for. But if designer is your thing, then St Armands Circle, Las Olas Boulevard and Worth Avenue is where you need to head. Finally, Fifth Avenue in Naples is the shopping hotspot you should not miss.

Nature and wildlife

From the Everglades, to delicate reefs, the crystal clear ocean and the many beaches, Florida's natural beauty is second to none. The waters that surround Florida's coast are home to dolphins and exotic fish. The Everglades is home to some amazing wildlife such as alligators and deer, and Florida is the only place in North America where you are able to swim with manatees.
