Things To Do When Visiting San Francisco

If you are headed to San Francisco on a trip, you may be asking yourself what you want to do while you are there

. There are many different things to do in this great city, including shopping, food, and historical sites.

You want to be sure not to miss the famous Fisherman's Wharf. This is a great place to walk around, shop, and get a few souvenirs. There are also a few attractions you can visit on Fisherman's Wharf, including a wax museum and Ripley's Believe It or Not.

You can also check out Alcatraz while in San Francisco. Alcatraz is a former prison on an Island in the middle of the San Francisco Bay. It is now a great place to take a tour and get a feel for the history of the remaining buildings on the island. You may want to get reservations ahead of time to be sure you are able to see this great historical site.

You also will want to experience the fine dining in this great city. There are many great restaurants to choose from depending on if you are in the mood for steak, sushi, fish, hamburgers, or anything in between. You can be sure to find a great San Francisco Restaurant with a view of the city. Having a great view will allow you to enjoy a nice dinner while enjoying the spectacular scenery as well.

You may want to hop on a cable car as well and experience the city in these fun and exciting San Francisco originals. You can even have them take you to Lombard Street. This famous street is known for its being crooked and steep. The cable car will take you right to the top where you can walk down this famous street.

If you have some kids with you, you may want to take a trip to the Exploratorium. This is a great museum for people young and old. It is a very hands-on museum with great exhibits to explore and discover. It is very educational and your kids will love learning new things with you. It is most suitable for those over five years of age.

There are so many great things to do in San Francisco. You just have to decide what you want to see when you visit. No matter what you choose, you are sure to be impressed by this great city.
