Things You Need To Do If You Suspect You Have Bed Bugs
Do you suspect you have bed bugs living in your bed
? Do you think something is biting you during the night? Not sure if you have allergies or bed bugs in your bed? Here's some basic information on the parasitic insect which has become increasingly popular amongst households throughout Canada and the United States.
Bed bugs are parasitic insects that love to feed on humans blood. They are mainly nocturnal, which means they feed on blood during the evening unless they are in desperate need for food then they may feast on human blood during the day. Beds and Matress's are the perfect places for them to make a home because it is close to their feeding source which is your blood. Bed bugs have also been known to move fast and be very elusive, so you may have a hard time recognizing the problem as sometimes victims do not even show signs of being bitten.
People who do show signs of bed bugs, will have markings, bites, redness and itchiness. Everyone reacts to bed bugs differently and some people can share a bed with others and not show any signs of being bitten while you yourself are itching and getting bit.
Bed bug infestations aren't like infestations such as termites, ants or fleas. They are becoming increasingly more popular since countries banned the use of DDT. It is suggested if you think you have bed bugs that you start putting a plan together immediately to start eradicating them from your household as they can spread and get worse. Bed bugs come in many different colours which makes them hard to see, at first they may be light in colour and then they feed on blood and turn a reddish colour.
