Sodium Dichlor: This class 1 oxidizer is often referred to as just Dichlor. This means that it is relatively safe to handle. To ensure that the material stays stable even in sunlight, cyanuric acid is added to it when it is manufactured. On the flip side, it is not always convenient to use these through automatic feeders.

Sodium Trichlor: Experts suggest that the best swimming pool chemical for oxidizing a pool is Trichlor. Apart from providing 90 percent available chlorine, Trichlor is also suitable for automatic feeders. In fact the product is manufactured to work with feeders as dissolves properly only in flowing water. It is similar to Dichlor because it remains stable in sunlight.
