Think Your Partner is Having an Affair? Why You Should Wait to Confront Them Until You Are Sure

Sometimes we can take one little thing that makes us start to doubt our partner and add on to it with everything we see afterwards to confirm our suspicions without any proof. Then we get ourselves so worked up we end up confronting them and screaming about how they are cheating on us and don't love us anymore.

Obviously this makes us look like crazy and irrational people if they are not cheating and if they really are cheating then they start covering their tracks even better than they were or end the affair altogether which leaves you without the truth for the rest of your relationship.

I'm sure that's not what you want. You don't want to ruin a good relationship because of your insecurities and for your sanity you need to know for sure if there was an affair going on instead of being suspicious and miserable for the rest of your life.

They can also start to make you confused about what is really going on and who is the bad person in the relationship if you act crazy, even if they are cheating. They will quickly turn it on you and say you treat them horrible and you are constantly jealous of nothing which makes you question everything you know you've seen or heard and start to feel like the bad person.

You need to start compiling some hard core evidence of an affair. Something that you can show them without a shadow of a doubt that proves they are guilty.

The great things about not acting like you are on to them is that they let their guard down and are more laid back in their affair, if they are having one, which makes it easier for you to collect any evidence you need. They feel there is nothing to be scared about because you have no clue what is going on.

That's called having the upper hand and that's what you want.

When they are presented with the evidence they will have to admit the affair and whether you decide to end it or work through it you can go from there. But at least you will know the truth.

Without the evidence you are wasting your time and energy.

So start looking for the little things like receipts, or e-mails, or anything else that you can make a copy of and have real proof to present them.
