Once you see an unknown number on your screen, you can ignore the call and they can call till kingdom come, but all they will get is your spiffy little ringtone.

Connecting to the Internet:

When push comes to shove, you have to use any and every device that you have. Ever wondered how you can send that urgent email when your computer has conked out or if your internet is not working? Well, it is quite simple if you have a GPRS enabled cell phone. Either you can send the email via your mobile browser, or you can connect the mobile to the computer with the help of the data wire and connect to the internet. Of course, you will not get the robust broadband internet speeds, but you will at least be able to save the day by sending the email at the right time.

Business Networking:

Several cell phones today provide you an opportunity to send your virtual visiting card to anyone with a cell phone. This turns out to be a very economical and even useful way of communicating and networking. This is a perfect solution for those moments when you meet someone whom you want to be in contact with but do not have an actual visiting card handy.

These are just some of the uses of a cell phone that you do not think about, but may have used sometime or the other. Of course, there are several other uses of a cell phone, and all you would have to do is to fiddle around with the cell phone a bit to find out.
