1. Relax.

Free yourself from the stress of air travel by getting a relaxing whole body massage. It will help you past the time without even trying. After a soothing massage, you will come out like a new person and you would even forget that why you were upset about the layover.

2. Go to the beach.

If you didn't have the time to squeeze in some beach time in your schedule during your stay in California, then now is the perfect time to hit the waves. There are nearby beaches that are located five to seven miles from LAX where you can relax and have fun. You can try Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and Manhattan Beach. If you are not fond of walking, you can pick a perfect spot in one of the local cafes in downtown El Segundo where you can have a cup of coffee and simply enjoy the old town American vibe of the place.
