Dan was an active talker. Most time of our talking, Dan told me a lot about his interest and life. And I listened to him quietly and answered him some words when he asked me. "Do I make you feel embarassed?"he asked me when our talk turned into silence again. "No. I just don't know how to talk frankly like you do." I told him. In fact, his hobbies and life didn't attract much of my attention. When he talked about his friends, I was quite concentrative and wanted to get as much information as possible of the girl who was in the white party dress. I knew it from Dan that the girl's name was Lulu. They grew up together and from an early age, they were good friends. Dan also told me that Lulu was a princess among the boys. "Look at her. She's beautiful." Dan praised Lulu. "Yes, she's the most beautiful girl of the party. She also has the most beautiful party dress." I couldn't help express my appreciation to this girl whom I didn't know. "I don't think so." Dan shook his head, disagreeing with my idea. "Isn't that her party dress is the most beautiful one?" There's a girl more beautiful than her." Dan said and stared at me passionately. "You must be kidding." I knew clearly that he was talking about me. "No, you're the most beautiful girl. I'm sure you are." Dan insisted on telling me this. I didn't answer him but smiled to him to express my disagreement.

"Hey, why don't you come to me?" the girl in the white party dress came to Dan and me. I was quite grateful to her for she broke the silence between Dan and me. Silence always made me feel uncomfortable. "You're so popular.Many boys are around you. How can you see me?" Dan protest. "That's your excuse.When you meet pretty girls, you always forget me." Lulu said and stared at me. "This is Julie," Dan introduced me to her, "and this is Lulu." "Nice to meet you," Lulu put out her hand first. "Nice to meet you," I was a little uncomfortable with her formal greeting. Now I knew the girl and the boy, our story just began.
