Three Reasons Why Clamshell Phones Look So Attractive

You don't have to be a fashionista or some classy person that belongs to the upper

crust of society to realize how appealing and attractive clamshell phones look like. Literally almost every single person you see on the street is clutching a clamshell phone whether it's planted on his ear while walking or not, ever since the release of Motorola's RAZR clamshell phone. It appears that its popularity has remained at relatively high levels as far as consumer taste goes.

There are a whole lot of reasons toward this, well mainly because of its design. It's practically selling like hotcakes to prospective buyers. If you're not a big fan of clamshell phones, you should know that you're missing out on a good thing. These practically do everything that other phones do as well; taking pictures, answering calls, sending text messages, accessing the internet, the whole shebang. But as far as looks go, these clamshell phones really get some extra points for a whole lot of people.

1.It looks good on us when we take calls.

Let's face it; clamshell phones simply just look a whole lot better on us whenever we take calls. Rather than just clutching a phone and holding it close to your ear like it were a brick or something, clamshell phones take answering calls a notch higher since it looks a lot more elegant on you; the fact that you have to flip it open and how it angles perfectly fit our heads.

And for some reason, the fact alone that the phone's receiver is closer to our mouth, it kind of gives us the feeling that we don't have to scream out what we're saying; this alone gives you some extra points for coolness cause it wouldn't freak out the person beside you. You know how some people have this tendency to raise their voice when they're on their mobile? Well, you don't need to worry about that with clamshell phones because these babies don't give you the notion that your mouth is too far away from the receiver.

2.Especially when you haven't had the pleasure of owning one, it's something that you might fancy.

There's nothing that could excite you more than entertaining the thought of owning something that you've never owned before. It's kind of like how a person reacts when he's finally getting his very first car. You build up all this hype around it and once all your expectations are met, it's like the most awesome thing that you've ever owned.

3.It has a better sense of privacy compared to other phones.

Let's say you get a text message from a friend, most phones just display it on their screens for all the world to see if your phones placed on a table or something. With clamshell phones however, its main screen is closed off when you've flipped it closed. This means the message that you've received would be safely tucked away in your inbox without anyone reading it behind your back or over your shoulder.
