Three Simple Secrets To Internet Marketing Success

Is there really a secret to making money online? If you have spent any amount of time at all in the Internet Marketing or Home Based business world you have probably been bombarded with the latest and greatest ways to make money. Every guru has a secret plan to extract large amounts of money from the Internet, if you will just buy their newest product. This product is often their proprietary secret, which they will share with you, (and only a few thousand others), for a limited time only. Very little work or effort will be needed to make a pile of money, once you have paid them for their secret system. Then they will disappear, until they reappear with the next product to sell you. So the big question is; are there really secret ways to make easy money online, and what is the best way to begin to earn your living from the Internet.

The truth is that many of these Guru types promoting their secrets systems are simply re-packaging the same old information, and just sprucing it up with fancy graphics, hypnotic sales letters and videos. Some of them really are making a lot of money, but not from the methods and techniques they are selling you in their course. Most of their income comes from the sales of the course and not from using the techniques taught in the course. There are exceptions to the rule of course, and I will cover that further on, but first let's deal with the question of whether there really are secrets to Internet success.

Here are my Three Basic Secrets To Internet Marketing Success.

Secret One

There are no real secrets. Everything you need to know is available-often for free, and sometimes for a reasonable price, but it is all out there. The only real secret lies in being able to sort through all the hype and rubbish and just plain bad information that exists, in order to get to what really works. This is an extremely simple concept, but a difficult one to put into practice, especially when you are inundated everyday with offers for the latest and greatest new products. Which brings us to the next principle.

Secret Two

Narrow your focus. This one comes from Kelly Felix, founder of The Rich Jerk Empire. Start by unsubscribing to every Guru's email list, or newsletter, that comes to your inbox. You will not be able to do any one thing well if you are always investigating the newest fad or top secret product release. You'll go crazy with all the information overload. Admit it, your hard drive is already filled with ebooks and products that you have never done anything with and which have never made you any money. Stop wasting your time on those forums too. By all means do your due diligence, and then choose one Guru or method with a proven track record, and follow that plan alone. And this leads into success secret number three

Secret Three

Find a Mentor. The quickest path to success in any field is to follow in the footsteps of someone who has already achieved success, and has a roadmap to share. For instance, I mentioned Kelly Felix above. Kelly, and his friend Mike Long, have recently opened up a new online group where they share everything that they are currently doing to make money online. It is a virtually real time look over the shoulder of two extremely successful Internet Marketers as they create and develop new products and websites, using solid, proven, non-secret techniques. And, it is an amazing relief to not feel the pressure to constantly keep searching out the latest new 'secret'
