One way to deal with this sort of problem is to have your very own rug made. And for you to do that, here are a few things that you need to think of first.

The color of the rug that you want.

There are a myriad of colors that can be applied to rugs. And with that kind of option, you need to make sure first that you think that through before choosing a color that you want. So it would be much easier for you to make that sort of decision, make sure you know where you're going to be putting that rug in before you finalize things.

Depending on where you're going to be putting it, dark colored or light colored rugs are perfect in certain areas. After all, you wouldn't really want to have contrasting colors in your room now. So make sure that you choose the color of your rug carefully, that it should match wherever place you're going to be putting it in.

The size of the rug that you are planning to have

You may already know that there are actually standard sizes for rugs. With these standard sizes, these have been the generally accepted sizes in which rugs have been made into. These are usually measured in feet. When having a rug made especially for none other than you, it's important as well that you know how big a rug you want to have made. This would mean that you need to measure the floor area you would want to cover up with a rug. It could either be a furniture arrangement, a computer workstation or anything else; what you need to do is to measure that area and give the dimensions to the person making your rug.

Having the color and size of the rug is nice, you'll know how big it is and where to put it. So this is the tricky part right here.
