Elastomer Rollers
ksmsuperblue elastomer rollers are based on the original 'blue' roller formulation developed and refined over 20 years. Moulded from inorganic polymers, these synthetic rubbers utilise a sustainable, high molecular structure. Being a chemically stable, inert material, they will not crack or age harden like other rollers. The surface texture is harmonised to develop surface energy characteristics maximising loose particle pick up.
Maintaining this surface energy characteristic with regular cleaning extends the working life of any roller but, when performance starts to decline, replacement with ksmsuperblue rollers will once again return your system to maxsimum efficiency.
Adhesive Rolls
KSM's adhesive rolls are the result of 15 year's experience with global high-technology users of particle transfer systems. The three critical elements of an adhesive roll are the core, carrier / release layer and the adhesive formulation. KSM has brought together leading technology experts to produce the ultimate performance rolls. Our cores employ one piece extruded plastic mouldings that maintain a truly cylindrical base to insure contact with the elastomer roller. The carrier / release layer is specially sealed and moisture stabilised to avoid distortion and wrinkling. KSM's adhesive formulation provides the perfect 'contamination trap', allowing one-way transfer of particles from the elastomer rollers to the adhesive. The surface texture has been optimised to contain maximum particle retention and contamination 'loading', enabling the elastomer rollers to maintain their surface energy characteristics.
Core Chucks
runtrue core chucks were developed by SKM to generate harmonisation between the elastomer roller and adhesive rolls. runtrue core chucks are positioned at both ends of the adhesive roll. Their concentric, annular grip seals ensure the adhesive rolls run tru from the central sealed bearing and stub support shaft, thus maintaining permanent running contact at the elastomer adhesive interface.
The days of sliding adhesive rolls over shafts and then having to align and cebtralise end caps are over. Simply convert to KSM's easy to fit runtrue core chucks that self centre: Retrofit kits are available to suit every known contact cleaning system.
Cleaning Products
Wipes (ECC200) Maintaining the surface energy chracteristic of Elastomer Rollers is essential to maximise efficiency. KSM's wipes have been specially formulated from blended Glycol Ethers, Isopropyl Alcohol and De-Ionised water to clean and condition the elastomer rollers surface. The wipes utilise a clean room, lint free, 68-gram high strength, hysro-entangled blend of Polypropylene/Polyester which will out-perform any standard IPA/DI formulation.
Spray Clean (ECHS500) Offers the blended ge.IPA/DI elastomer cleaner and conditioner in a handy 500ml trigger spray container.
Dry Wipes (DW100) A pack of 100 high-strength, lint free, 68-gram clean room quality dry wipes for use with the Spray Clean solution or just as a dry quality wipe.
